Podiatrists

Podiatrists are University-trained health professionals who specialise in the diagnosis & treatment of lower limb problems. Due to everyday activity, we place great demand on our legs & feet, & consequently injury may result. Common presenting problems include heel & foot pain, knee & shin pain, Achilles tendonitis & ankle instability. Dress Shoe & sports footwear advice can be beneficial.

Computerised Gait assessment is used here at the clinic to assess gait & prescribe orthotics. This system allows for accurate assessment of your feet as you use them – that is in standing & walking.
The podiatrist also manages General Footcare for example ingrown toenails, cracked heels & corns – encompassing what used to be called Chiropody.
