Zev Permack – Physiotherapist

Zev joined the Paddington Physiotherapy team after graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2016. During his study he cultivated physiotherapy experience in musculoskeletal, paediatric and neurological conditions. He also worked in a variety of onfield sports settings such as AFL, soccer & basketball, managing various acute conditions. During Zev’s work he developed an energetic passion for treating injuries and discomforts of the upper and lower limbs as well as the spine.

Zev currently works as the head physiotherapist for the National Under 24 Men’s Ultimate Frisbee team, preparing them for the World Championship in 2018. He is dedicated to providing immediate pain relief for his clients as well as creating long term care plans for continued active lifestyles. He believes in not only addressing the current acute injury but also preventing further and/or future injury through biomechanics assessment and careful training.

Zev maintains his own active lifestyle commuting through the hills of Brisbane on bike. He has an avid passion for rock climbing, ultimate frisbee and basketball. Before pursuing physiotherapy, Zev also completed a Bachelor of Psychology degree at the University of Winnipeg in Canada where he took a particular interest in sport psychology.

He is available for appointments, Monday to Friday during the afternoon and evenings.
